
Cris Delanno
An American singer from Texas/USA but from Brazilian descent and living in Rio de Janeiro, Cris Delanno is considered one of the most iconic and renowned female voices in the history of Brazilian music.
With over 68 million streams and +180,000 listeners on Spotify she built her discography associated with Bossa Nova and Roberto Menescal, one of the creators of this musical genre that has enchanted the planet since the 1960s.
With a degree in Brazilian Popular Music by the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - UNIRIO, Cris began singing in the Children's Choir of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro at the age of 5, participating in operas such as 'La Boheme', 'Carmen' and 'Tosca'.
He has recorded 14 albums between 2000 and 2021 and has a tremendous history with Brazilian music, performing with renowned icons of bossa nova and jazz, such as Marcos Valle, Carlos Lyra, Roberto Menescal, Luiz Carlos Vinhas, Andy Summers (The Police), Oscar Castro Neves, Ed Motta, Nelson Faria, Simoninha, Ivan Lins, among many others.
