

Luana Mallet
Luana Mallet is a brazilian singer and composer from Rio de Janeiro who plays jazz and Brazilian music. Born into a musical family, the daughter of a singer mother and a violinist father, she grew up attending shows, soirees, and concerts at the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro. She began her musical practice with the violin at the age of 6, then tried out a few other instruments before finally becoming a singer.
She joined the band Digital Groove (Recife/PE) in 2010 for the recording and tour to release the album “Manual”.
She participated in the first edition of the program “The Voice Brasil” in 2012 at Rede Globo TV station. In 2013, the song "Longe" (a partnership with Ana Carolina and Glauco Fernandes) was released on the program "Faro MPB".
In 2014, Luana was invited to the TV program "Compositores Unidos" on 'Canal Brasil', where she performed the song "Quem" in partnership with the famous Brazilian singer Jorge Vercillo.
In 2014, she released the EP "SemiAcústica" accompanied by a string quartet. On this same year, she designed the costumes for the show "O Pequeno Príncipe" at the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro and made her acting debut as 'Rosa'.
In 2015, the song "Quem" was released on Jorge Vercillo's album "Vida É Arte" in a duet that was acclaimed by radio stations across all states in Brazil. At the same time, Luana entered the jazz circuit in Rio de Janeiro, performing at venues such as 'TribOz', the legendary 'Beco das Garrafas', 'Sala Municipal Baden Powell', 'Blue Note Rio', 'Jazz At The Maze', among others.
In 2017, she released the singles "Carnaval" and "Ela", and in January 2018 the single "Vai Passar" with arrangements by Adriano Souza and string arrangements by Glauco Fernandes. Also in 2018, Luana participated in the “International Jazz Day” program on Canal Brasil and premiered the show “Tributo a Emílio Santiago” at 'Blue Note Rio'.
Luana pays tribute to great names in Brazilian music such as 'Leny Andrade', accompanied by the group 'Baião de 5 & Carlos Lyra', accompanied by the great pianist 'Osmar Milito'.
In 2020, she participated in the project “Emoriô - o Bloco Nagô”, a tribute to the famous Brazilian musician 'João Donato' (winner of the Latin Grammy Awards 2023), which included the participation of the musician himself during the rehearsals and the premiere.
